Anne Atalig Poch, MD

Physician

Dr. Anne Atalig Poch is a board-certified Family Medicine physician whose approach to patient care is rooted in treating every patient as family and as a child of God. Dr. Poch moved to the mainland United States from the islands of Rota and Guam, where she was born and raised, to complete her undergraduate education. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry with honors at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH. After working with the National Parkinson Foundation, she pursued her medical training at Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and post-doctoral residency training in Family Medicine at Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Augusta, GA. She served as a United States Army Family Medicine physician serving Active Duty, Reservists, veterans, and their families, and residency faculty teaching medical students and Family Medicine residents at Womack Army Medical Center at Ft. Bragg, NC, before moving to Lynchburg, VA, to be close to extended family, serve the local community, and raise her family. She continues to serve as a Family Medicine physician caring for the LU community through Collaborative Health Partners and clinical faculty teaching medical students through Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine.

"My goal is to provide high-quality, evidence-based medical care to all patients from the womb to the end of life that is personalized through shared decision-making. My style is kind but direct. If I can help you prevent, manage, or ease the burden of disease, I will work to do so."
