Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R), works to rebuild and restore functional ability to those with physical impairments. These impairments can include accidents or disabilities that affect the brain, spinal cord, nerves, bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, and tendons. While often confused with physical therapy, PM&R utilizes physical therapy and other tactics in order to provide treatment and healing.

Overview

Our PM&R specialists evaluate and treat patients with short- or long-term physical and/or cognitive impairments and disabilities that result from musculoskeletal conditions (neck or back pain, or sports or work injuries), neurological conditions (stroke, brain injury or spinal cord injury) or medical other conditions. Our goal is to decrease pain and enhance performance without surgery.
