Community Involvement

Enhancing Our Community Health Through Compassionate Care and Support

At Collaborative Health, we are committed to enhancing community health through compassionate care and support. We empower individuals and families to lead healthier lives by providing access to primary care, pediatrics, sports medicine, and specialized services. Our goal is to create a healthier community by investing in initiatives that align with our mission of helping people attain better health for a better life. We aim to nurture a culture of wellness that extends beyond our office walls into the hearts of the communities we serve.

Encouraging All to Get Involved

As part of our commitment to give back to the community, we encourage and reward our team members for taking part in community projects.

Collaborative Health has introduced Volunteer Leave Time Off (VTO) as a way to incentivize team members to be a part of making a difference, not only in our clinics but also in the communities we serve.

Each year, we select various community groups and/or projects to support. This guarantees that each year we engage with a range of organizations, community groups, and local initiatives.

Below are just a few of the organizations and projects that Collaborative Health team members have been able to be a part of:

  • Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Greater Lynchburg’s Feud Fundraiser
  • Volunteering at Lynchburg Daily Bread, Parkview Community Mission, and Agape Center, Lynchburg
  • Collecting donations & supplies for Isaiah 117 House, Campbell County EMS, and Blue Ridge Pregnancy Center
  • Volunteering at the Boys & Girls Club

At our company, community impact means caring for and giving back to the very communities where we live, work, and play. Our culture of EPIC Teamwork is not just something we talk about; it’s something we live by. Our core values, E.P.I.C.T., stand for Excellence, Professionalism, Compassion, and Teamwork."

"Our employees embody these values within our organization and extend them outside by volunteering, contributing, and engaging in churches, civic groups, schools, and clubs. We believe community impact offers us the opportunity to make a difference from the inside out.

Supporting Our Local Athletes

In addition to serving community patients, our sports medicine doctors provide care for the Liberty University, University of Lynchburg, and Virginia University of Lynchburg college athletics programs. The team also provides care for the Lynchburg Hillcats, a minor league affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians, and Hill City FC, a USL 2 professional soccer team.
